Signage/Banners

WHERE TO LOCATE
For any group planning on hanging banners, please consult first with your assigned Catering/Event Manager. There are restrictions on location due to a limited number of hang points or the area over which the banner is intended to hang. Banners may not hang in any location that would violate local fire code.

BANNER CONSTRUCTION
In general, most banners should be horizontal in orientation as there are very few locations where vertical banners hang effectively. Suggested sizes would be for horizontal banners to drop no more than three or four feet and span anywhere from fifteen to twenty feet. Grommet holes and a sleeve at the top of the banner are strongly recommended for ease of placement.

LABOR TO HANG BANNERS
Any banners must be hung by hotel engineers in the Ballroom Operations Department. The charge to hang any banner(s) is either by the running foot or a flat fee per banner depending on the difficulty in hanging each banner.

SIGNAGE/RIGGING
Any signs or rigging that must be placed in conjunction with the hanging of a banner must also be done by hotel engineers in the Ballroom Operations Department. Labor charges will apply.

Notes:
• Please notify hotel ahead of time if banners are to be reused by your organization.
• Banners that are made out of certain materials may not relax properly when shipped
   and thus, may hang poorly.
